Phlebotomus papatasi (Scopoli, 1786)
Subgenus: Phlebotomus Rondani-Berte, 1840
P. papatasi is distinguished from the other members of Phlebotomus subgenus by having a trilobed paramere with the upper lobe longer than the lower one, an epandrial lobe with two apical spines and 10-15 gonocoxal hairs located on the distal part of the gonocoxite.
